 I spent three months designing the typeface “Ollen” this spring. I researched many typefaces throughout the process, referencing grotesque and neo-grotesque designs such as Akzidenz-Grotesk, Univers, and Helvetica. I wanted to create a versatile sans-serif typeface primarily to be used as a text face, but it can also be used at a larger scale for display purposes. Ollen has both lining and old-style figures.
